SC-3013
Echo’s SC3013 is my favorite chipper/shredder on the market. It packs some nice power in its 306cc OHV Briggs engine. And it has a nice sized 27lb rotor. A heavier rotor means more momentum, more inertia, and more chipping. It has 2 razor sharp chipping blades for your larger pieces that go in the small chute. The blades are sharp on both sides so you can flip them to the sharp side when they get dull and have both sides sharpened later. Your leafy brush and anything up to 3/4″ in diameter goes into the large hopper where it will get attacked by 12 reversible shredding flail knives. There are several available screens so you can regulate the chip size. And probably my favorite feature, the tires are foam filled so no flats! 3 year consumer warranty.
SC-2013
A slimmed down version of the SC3013. It has two reversible chipping knives and eight reversible shredding knives. All Echo Chipper shredders use heat-treated chipping blades and shredding knives. The serrated shredding knives are staggered to improve the processing performance. We’ve had the previous generation of this model in our rental fleet for years. It’s taken a beating and it works fantastic. Great buy!
SC-4213
Same body as the SC-3013 but with a more powerful engine. Chip, shred, mulch, compost, reduce, reuse. The professionally powerful SC-4213 eats debris and tree branches up to 3”-thick and spits out ¾” chips that can be easily hauled away or used to refresh the landscaping.
